Individual psychotherapy & counselling

Using an integrative approach tailored to the needs of each individual, I strive to help my clients understand and find practical ways to cope with their challenges. I primarily draw upon person-centred, psychodynamic, cognitive behavioural, and solution-focused approaches to therapy in my work.

I specialize in working with clients experiencing low self-esteem, family of origin issues, childhood relational trauma, difficulties with assertiveness, and existential concerns. My practice is currently focused on adolescents and adults over the age of 12. I also work frequently with university students and individuals who identify with the gifted and LGBTQ+ communities.

As your therapist, I aim to create a warm, respectful, nonjudgmental environment where you can feel safe to share your experiences. Depending on your preferences and reasons for seeking therapy, you can expect sessions to include discussion and exploration, experiential exercises, and practical coping strategies. The type of therapy I offer is both insight-oriented and promotive of present functioning, and both short-term and long-term services are available.

If you have further questions about the services I offer, please feel welcome to email me using the contact form.

All of old. Nothing else ever. Ever tried. Ever failed. No matter. Try again. Fail again. Fail better. ― Samuel Beckett
